M100X: Unfazed by Signal Obstruction
In modern positioning systems, signal obstruction is an unavoidable issue, especially in urban environments where signal interference and blockage can severely impact navigation accuracy. However, with advancing technology, more and more integrated navigation devices have emerged. By combining multiple positioning technologies, these devices can provide reliable positioning services in various environments. The M100X integrated navigation device stands out as a prime example.
1 What is M100X?
M100X is a new GNSS+INS receiver for high-accuracy vehicular positioning and heading applications, featuring GNSS positioning module and high-performance IMU module. With its high-precision IMU, it can effectively handle challenging environments, including satellite signal interference or loss, ensuring stable, continuous, and reliable high-precision positioning. It is equipped with interfaces that comply with the standards and regulations of vehicle, which is more convenient to integrate with vehicular devices and systems. It can be applied in complex environments, like urban canyons, city overpasses, underground garages, tunnels and parks.
2 Performance Demonstration
To validate the performance of the M100X under signal obstruction, we conducted multiple tests in Shanghai and Belgium. Below are the results:To validate the performance of the M100X under signal obstruction, we conducted multiple tests in Shanghai and Belgium. Below are the results:
2.1 Test Scenario: Tunnel (Shanghai)
· Test Environment
Clear weather with good satellite signal conditions, entered the tunnel several times along the way.
· Test Trajectory
The trajectory in the graph represents the positioning data of the M100X. Red points indicate RTK fixed solutions, while blue points represent inertial navigation solutions.
Global Trajectory
Tunnel(2500m)
Tunnel(1200m)
· Summary
In environments with good satellite signals, the M100X can keep stable RTK fixed status, and when go into tunnels the M100X can quickly switch to GNSS+INS solutions and maintain high positioning accuracy.
2.2 Test Scenario: City Overpasses (Belgium)
· Test Environment
Clear weather with good satellite signal conditions. Passing under the overpass several times on the way.
· Test Trajectory
The trajectory in the graph represents the positioning data of the M100X. Red points indicate RTK fixed solutions, while blue points represent inertial navigation solutions.
Trajectory
Go through overpass
Go through overpass
· Summary
As vehicle enters the city overpasses, the M100X quickly switches to the GNSS+INS solution and maintains good positioning accuracy under the overpass.
3 Conclusion
M100X leverages high-order algorithm, Quantum-III Soc Chip, and high dynamic data update rates to maintain high-precision and highly reliable positioning performance, even in the most complex environments. Whether in tunnels or city overpasses, the M100X effectively tackles signal obstruction challenges, delivering stable and dependable navigation services to users. No matter the environment, the M100X empowers you to overcome the hurdles of signal blockage, ensuring you always have an accurate grasp of your current location.
